Position Summary
UPS is seeking a Technician II to lead and coordinate technical service delivery across IT support, infrastructure, and project deployment. This role ensures the execution of solutions and initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and vendors to manage systems, ensure compliance, and optimize performance.
This is an on-site position requiring in-facility attendance during regular business hours. The role demands a hands-on technician with strong analytical skills and the ability to work under moderate supervision within defined procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Execute and support IT service delivery and project deployments

Conduct root cause analysis and maintain performance through KPIs and SLAs

Integrate and maintain hardware, software, automation, and network infrastructure

Lead cost, inventory, staffing, and compliance management

Train technical staff and customers on systems and processes

Engage with customers through face-to-face collaboration and consultation

Utilize project tracking tools to manage 24/7 support operations

Adjust financials and operations to meet strategic goals

Apply standard procedures and scientific methods to complete tasks efficiently
Qualifications

U.S. Citizen, National, or authorized to work in the U.S.

Technical/vocational training or equivalent experience

Ability to perform analytical and technical tasks with minimal oversight

Familiarity with coding, system integration, or IT support preferred

Background in IT service delivery, system compliance, or infrastructure operations is a plus
