Are you ready for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a skilled Goods in & Dispatch Operative to lead operations at our Offsite Manufacture/Weld facility in Drighlington, near Bradford and Leeds. As a Goods in & Dispatch Operative, you’ll manage stock control, dispatch operations, and lead a team of six operatives, ensuring smooth material flow and high-quality output. Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do as a Goods in & Dispatch Operative

Manage and dispatch materials safely and efficiently within the facility

Oversee all stock control processes including Kanban, PPE, and emergency items

Ensure all deliveries are accurate and meet quality standards

Take charge of the yard: storage coordination, waste management, and vehicle movement

Supervise, motivate, and support a team of 6 operatives daily

Produce delivery and pallet notes while ensuring dispatch readiness

Implement and encourage continuous improvement practices

Maintain high standards in housekeeping and workplace organisation
What You’ll Bring

Previous experience in stock or warehouse management

Leadership experience in a logistics or dispatch setting

Working Hours & Schedule

Monday to Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Friday: Optional overtime opportunities available
