About the Role
The Grocery Retail Territory Manager acts as the key liaison between assigned retail stores and General Trading. This role is responsible for regularly visiting stores within the assigned territory, ensuring accounts meet company expectations, and driving 100% ordering compliance across all three departments—Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen—through General Trading.
Key Responsibilities

Support store owners with the launch of new product lines and assist in major department remodels.

Serve as the primary liaison between General Trading and its customers.

Introduce, train, and follow up on company programs, tools, and apps.

Promote exclusive purchasing of Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen products from General Trading.

Review and analyze sales reports with store owners/managers to improve performance.

Monitor market conditions, product innovations, competitor activity, and pricing to provide value-added insights to customers.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with store managers and staff.

Perform hands-on tasks related to space allocation and merchandising.
Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.

3–5 years of retail sales experience (grocery industry preferred).

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external customers.

Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
