Job Description

Rogers Group is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Haul Truck Driver in Ennis, TX. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience operating both rigid frame and articulated haul trucks, with a strong commitment to safety excellence.

Position Details:

  • Full-Time

  • Day Shift

  • Starting wage: $23.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate haul trucks to transport material from the pit to the crusher and initiate the crushing process.

  • Conduct daily pre- and post-operation inspections, documenting findings according to company policies.

  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance on equipment as directed by management.

  • Communicate effectively in accordance with job requirements.

  • Operate equipment with skill, competency, and proficiency.

  • Adhere strictly to company policies and MSHA/environmental regulations to ensure a safe work environment.

  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions and tolerate exposure to loud noises.

  • Collaborate with team members and assist supervisors or co-workers with additional tasks as needed.

  • Be willing to work overtime and extended hours when required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong dedication to safe work practices.

  • Prior experience operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks is preferred.

  • Ability to perform general labor and clean-up tasks both on the ground and within the plant as assigned.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and physical examination.
