Randstad is urgently seeking a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join the Acute Mental Health Service at CNTW NHS Foundation Trust. This is a vital role where you’ll provide exceptional care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. As an HCA – Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be directly contributing to the well-being and recovery of patients, ensuring they receive top-tier care. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals with a proven track record of patient care to join us immediately.

Key Responsibilities of an HCA – Healthcare Assistant

• Deliver outstanding patient-centered care to those with mental health needs

• Collaborate with nurses and the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

• Assist with medication administration (as directed by qualified personnel)

• Adhere to CNTW Trust’s policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications and Experience for HCA – Healthcare Assistant

• Proven experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges

• A solid understanding of mental health issues and suitable interventions

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality care

• Essential vaccinations required: BCG, MMR, and Hepatitis B

Desirable Qualifications:

• Care Certificate

• Minimum 6 months NHS experience as an HCA
