Key Responsibilities

Directly schedules, supervises, and coordinates the activities of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient, cost-effective food preparation aligned with labor budget goals.

Maintains uncompromising standards for sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in all kitchen areas.

Develops and implements standardized recipes and preparation techniques that ensure consistent quality and presentation while effectively managing food costs.

Oversees portion control and assists in setting pricing strategies for menu items.

Ensures optimal staffing levels for productivity, quality, and service excellence.

Establishes operational goals, monitors progress, and holds team members accountable for delivering results.

Controls food and labor expenses to maximize profitability while maintaining high culinary standards.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Culinary Degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen management or supervisory roles.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with team members, management, and guests.

Dependable, punctual, and professional; able to follow instructions, accept feedback, and work well within a team.

Demonstrated problem-solving ability with the capacity to analyze information, draw conclusions, and implement effective decisions.

Proficiency across all kitchen roles, including line cook, dishwasher, and expo, with hands-on operational knowledge.
