Key Responsibilities of a Health Care Assistant
As a Health Care Assistant at St Leonard’s Hospice, your role will include:

Patient Support: Spend several hours supporting the patient, engaging in activities like playing cards, watching TV, or simply chatting.

Hands-On Care: Provide personal care to patients when needed, ensuring comfort and dignity.

Effective Communication: Maintain clear and empathetic communication with patients, carers, and the multi-disciplinary team.

Accurate Record-Keeping: Ensure detailed and accurate care records are maintained to provide continuous care.
