Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to join our team in delivering person-centred care in care homes and home care settings. Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals with their daily living needs while fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Support with daily living activities such as meal preparation, mobility, and medication reminders

Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and their families

Follow personalised care plans as directed by healthcare professionals

Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition

Collaborate with care teams to ensure high standards of care

Use IT systems for documentation and communication when required

Drive or accompany clients to appointments or social activities (if applicable)
What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in care (home care or residential) is an advantage, but not essential

Good written and verbal communication in English

Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to client care

Ability to follow care plans and respond to individual needs

Basic IT proficiency for record keeping

A valid UK driving licence is advantageous

Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed
