Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the NDVS Opioid Response Grant and oversee all related programming.

  • Apply principles and best practices of health program management.

  • Administer and manage grants, including application processes, reporting, and compliance monitoring.

  • Plan, manage, and evaluate program operations and outcomes.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret public health data to guide program decisions.

  • Develop, implement, and oversee contractual agreements with partner agencies.

  • Manage program finances, including budgeting, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring fiscal accountability.

  • Prepare detailed reports, proposals, grant applications, and recommendations.

  • Provide leadership and training to program staff, ensuring effective statewide service coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public health, human services, social science, behavioral science, or a related field.

    • Minimum of three years of professional health-related experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role involving healthcare service coordination, budget monitoring, and interpretation of relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.

    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Compensation and Work Schedule:

  • Salary: $34.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

  • Funding: This position is grant-funded through June 2027.

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends required based on program needs.

  • Location: Office location will be determined based on recruitment results and may be based in Reno, NV, or Las Vegas, NV.
