Responsibilities
As a Health Services Administrator (HSA) at YesCare, your key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the healthcare delivery system and ensuring seamless coordination with other institutional functions.
- Managing the site budget and financial performance, submitting timely and accurate reports to supervisors and the corporate office.
- Developing and supervising the facility’s operational plan, while directing assigned staff activities.
- Ensuring appropriate staffing levels in accordance with contractual obligations and overseeing staff scheduling.
- Leading the hiring and selection process for staff and independent contractors, ensuring proper orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training.
- Ensuring full utilization and compliance with YesCare and client systems and applications.
- Coordinating and facilitating Medical Audit Committee meetings on a monthly basis.
- Maintaining accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies such as PREA, ACA, and NCCHC, ensuring adherence to correctional and YesCare policies.
- Collaborating with hospital administrators and external healthcare providers for offsite patient services.
- Enforcing all safety and security policies and ensuring compliance.
- Overseeing and ensuring completion of annual performance evaluations, including peer reviews.
- Managing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Addressing employee performance issues as needed, including counseling and disciplinary actions.
- Exercising discretion and independent judgment in managing, planning, and directing healthcare operations.
- Participating in corporate and regional meetings as required.
- Leading the Annual Health Services planning process for the site.
- Taking on on-call responsibilities as assigned.
- Upholding all patient confidentiality regulations.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
