About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be an integral part of a compassionate and multidisciplinary team focused on personalised care and recovery. You will work closely with qualified staff to support patient care plans, provide emotional support, and assist in activities that promote independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of individual care plans

  • Monitor and report patients’ physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing

  • Support patients with therapeutic activities and hobbies

  • Escort patients on leave and contribute to engagement and observation

  • Participate in de-escalation and behaviour management where required

  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to infection control procedures

  • Keep accurate records and communicate effectively with the team

  • Promote a respectful, supportive, and safe environment for all

What You’ll Bring

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach

  • A team player mindset with the ability to also work independently

  • Patience, resilience, and understanding of challenging behaviours

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

  • A healthcare qualification is desirable but not required

  • The right to work in the UK
