Role Expectations

  • Drive projects forward to meet set—and sometimes aggressive—deadlines and budgets.

  • Follow Ascension PMO processes (based on PMI standards).

  • Manage deliverables in ServiceNow (PPM), Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive.

  • Develop and maintain key project documents: charters, RACIs, communication plans, test plans, and schedules.

  • Build and oversee project budgets and financials.

  • Lead project processes through meetings, minutes, task assignments, deadlines, and follow-ups.

  • Hold resources accountable for deliverables and timelines.

  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues, driving timely resolution.

  • Report to portfolio and tower leaders while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.

  • Provide regular and ad hoc reports, addressing concerns proactively.

  • Adapt communication across levels (resources, leadership, stakeholders).

  • Manage subprojects and perform other duties as needed.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage 1–4 projects, depending on scope and complexity.

  • Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM CT.

  • Use ServiceNow for full lifecycle project management.

  • Maintain project artifacts and ensure records are consistently updated.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, working sessions, and testing cycles.

Qualifications & Preferences

  • Bachelor’s Degree or PMP certification required (either/or).

  • 5–7 years of IT project management experience strongly preferred.

  • 3 years of healthcare industry experience.

  • Expertise in formal project management processes.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with Google Workspace and ServiceNow preferred.

  • Required: Clinical imaging project experience (Radiology, Cardiology, PACS).

  • Preferred: PACS and dictation system overlays (e.g., Merge, Change Healthcare, Intelerad, GE).

  • Highly desirable: Cardiology PACS, hemodynamic systems, and Merge/Optum/Change Healthcare platforms.

Interview Process

  • One round interview with the hiring manager.

  • Optional second round if additional evaluation is required.

Travel Requirements

  • Project Kickoff: Travel Monday afternoon, onsite Tuesday, return Wednesday.

  • Go-Live Support: Travel Monday morning, onsite through Friday.
