Job Description

Boots is transforming healthcare to make it more accessible, personal, and modern. As a Healthcare Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in bringing this vision to life, acting as a health and wellness ambassador in-store and online.

You’ll support customers with expert advice, help them make informed choices about health products and services, and work as part of a collaborative team to enhance the overall healthcare experience at Boots.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic, expert advice on healthcare and wellness products.

  • Engage with customers using The Boots Healthcare Way, ensuring the right solutions are recommended.

  • Stay informed on current health trends and product innovations.

  • Promote Boots’ omnichannel services (e.g., Online Doctor, Boots.com, Pharmacy Services).

  • Build strong relationships with customers and the local community.

  • Refer customers to healthcare professionals when appropriate (e.g., Pharmacist).

  • Support store success as a proactive, informed, and approachable team member.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • A passion for helping others and delivering great customer service.

  • Interest in health, wellness, and making a positive impact.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Digital confidence – comfortable using and promoting online healthcare tools.

  • Willingness to complete a Healthcare Training Programme (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or retail setting.
