About the Role

As a Healthcare Services Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, providing courteous and efficient support to schedule appointments, confirm visits, and address patient concerns. You’ll help deliver the high-quality, coordinated care that Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is nationally recognized for.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments promptly and courteously.

  • Handle cancellations, reschedules, and patient inquiries efficiently.

  • Use problem-solving skills to support patient requests.

  • Provide comprehensive service to resolve caller concerns.

  • Maintain computer skills to effectively utilize scheduling and service software.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 1+ year experience in a high-volume contact center OR customer service role.

  • Strong customer service and phone etiquette.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years contact center or customer service experience.

  • PC proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

  • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO, PPO, POS, EPO, indemnity).

  • Ability to stay professional in high-volume environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $16.00 – $27.69 (based on experience and location).
