MPS Group, Inc. is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at the Cleveland Cliffs Facility in Middletown, OH. This role is essential to supporting industrial operations, handling equipment safely, and performing daily labor duties in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect and operate yard trucks, trailers, excavators, and wheeled loaders.

Perform hooking/unhooking of tractors and switching/re-spotting of trailers.

Evaluate tarps and place liners inside trailers.

Conduct load verification at each terminal.

Document communications between driver, spotter, and operator.

Assist with loading, unloading, setup, and breakdown of equipment.
Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of experience operating heavy equipment.

High School Diploma or GED required.

OSHA 10 certification (must be completed prior to hire; company-sponsored program available).

Valid driver’s license required.

Ability to follow equipment operating instructions and safe work practices.

Must pass background check, drug test, and physical exam.
