Job Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this role will take on various responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Operating a range of heavy equipment and machinery within a rock quarry, such as dozers, excavators, front-end loaders, dredges, and haul trucks, as well as performing general tasks around the quarry.

Conducting daily pre- and post-operation inspections, ensuring proper documentation in line with company policies.

Performing routine maintenance and servicing of equipment as instructed by management.

Demonstrating a high level of skill, competency, and efficiency while operating machinery.

Adhering to all company policies, MSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

Completing additional tasks as directed by management.
Required Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of experience operating heavy equipment.

A strong commitment to safe work practices at all times.

Experience operating a dozer is a plus.

Willingness to take on various tasks as needed within the quarry.

Ability to identify maintenance issues with equipment and report them to management.

Capability to complete pre-operation inspection paperwork accurately.

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.

A team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.

Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
