Shifts Available:

  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
  • 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is seeking two Helpdesk Coordinators to support our Estates and Facilities Management Helpdesk. As the first point of contact for maintenance and service requests, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth campus operations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, strong IT proficiency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities as a Helpdesk Coordinator

  • Serve as the primary contact for maintenance inquiries and service requests.
  • Manage inbound queries via phone and the University’s CAFM system, Invida.
  • Prioritize and log requests, ensuring efficient resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Campus Services Teams to provide seamless support.
  • Maintain accurate records of service issues and resolutions.

Customer Support & IT Administration

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize IT systems for efficient request tracking and workflow management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external service providers.

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience in a Helpdesk Coordinator or customer service role.
  • Strong communication and IT skills, including experience with service request platforms.
  • Ability to work efficiently, multitask, and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
  • Minimum Grade C GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent) or proven relevant work experience.
