About the Role

TEKsystems is hiring Technical Support Agents to support internal employees through inbound phone calls and chats. Agents will manage a ticketing queue and troubleshoot common technical issues such as password resets, server problems, VPN/connection issues, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other application-related concerns.

You’ll begin with compliance training in week one, followed by a one-week virtual instructor-led training. After training, you’ll transition into your assigned shift with ongoing support from managers and peers until you are fully comfortable.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls and chats to assist employees with technical issues.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve password resets, remote access (VPN), server issues, and encryption concerns.

  • Support Microsoft Office products including Windows 10, O365, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Assist with software installs, printer setups, mobile devices (iPhone/Android), and virtual desktop environments.

  • Document, track, and resolve incidents through the ticketing system.

  • Escalate complex issues to senior staff as necessary.

  • Provide professional and friendly customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 12–24 months of technology support or service desk experience.

  • Experience troubleshooting Windows 10, O365, Outlook, Teams, and mobile devices.

  • Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.

  • Ability to process large amounts of information and follow detailed instructions.

  • Commitment to completing the contract term.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

  • Knowledge of DNS, security patching, and basic networking concepts.
