Purpose of Position
The High School Connections and Enrollment Specialist serves as a systems applications technical expert for the Office of Education Partnerships High School Connections programs. This role acts as a point of contact for high school students, families, and administrators, providing guidance on admission, registration, and program resources while improving enrollment operations in alignment with CCC policies.
Essential Job Functions
1. Registration Assistance & Training (50%)

Act as the primary contact for high school students registering in programs

Support students, parents, and schools via phone, email, and in person

Develop written instructions, training tools, and timelines for registration
-
Process student registration, FERPA releases, and password resets in Colleague
2. Program Liaison (30%)
-
Serve as contact for CTE Pathways, Expanded Options, and High School Plus programs
-
Communicate with high school administrators, counselors, and CCC departments
-
Assist with registration, placement, coding, and transcript sharing
3. Promotion of Programs (10%)
-
Represent CCC at high school events (Open Houses, Curriculum Nights, etc.)

Support Advanced College Credit registration events

Collaborate on promotional materials and website updates
4. Data Tracking & Reporting (10%)

Track enrollment by program and high school per term and annually

Generate grade and cohort reports for internal and external partners
General Job Functions

Maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and partners

Participate in committees, training, and professional development

Ensure FERPA compliance and data integrity

Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of directly related work experience (or equivalent education/experience)

Knowledge of:

Community college programs, policies, and procedures

Admission, registration, and student data systems

Software applications (Word, Excel, database, web tools)
