Pro-Fee Hospital Multispecialty E/M & Surgery Coder Responsibilities
As a Pro-Fee Hospital Multispecialty E/M & Surgery Coder, you’ll perform detailed coding using ICD-10-CM, CPT, Modifiers, and HCPCS Level II codes for multiple hospital departments and specialties.
Your key responsibilities include:

Assign accurate codes for professional inpatient and outpatient services.

Apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, Modifiers, and HCPCS Level II codes across hospital and office settings.

Resolve coding-related edits and ensure claim accuracy and compliance.

Code for various departments, including:

Hospital Emergency Departments
-
Hospital Observations
-
Hospital Outpatient and Medical Offices

Hospital Inpatient Services
-

Work across multiple specialties such as OB, Cardiology, Urology, Neurology, GI, Surgery, and E/M services.

Maintain a coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher while meeting productivity goals.

Collaborate effectively with team members using MS Office, Teams, and VPN tools.
Pro-Fee Hospital Multispecialty E/M & Surgery Coder Qualifications
To qualify for the Pro-Fee Hospital Multispecialty E/M & Surgery Coder role, candidates must demonstrate both technical coding proficiency and a commitment to compliance and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:

AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification.

Minimum 3 years of experience in pro-fee hospital coding (inpatient and outpatient).

Proven accuracy and quality score of 95% or greater.

Ability to pass a professional fee coding assessment.

Proficiency with technology, including MS Office and remote work tools.

Must be based in the United States.
Work Schedule:
