Hospitality Professional

Job Summary

The Hospitality Professional with The Restaurant Store is responsible for delivering a high level of service and satisfaction to all customers in a retail branch location. You will achieve operational goals by applying effective customer service strategies aligned with our sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business-to-business customer service and sales

• Follow the proven TRS process:

  1. Build brand awareness

  2. Assess customer needs

  3. Exceed expectations

  4. Build loyalty

• Handle basic cashier functions and assist with product loading

• Maintain store cleanliness and organization

• Restock and manage incoming inventory

• Analyze product availability and re-order needs

• Promote private label brands to improve gross profit

• Educate customers on The Restaurant Store’s competitive advantages (best people, best technology, best price)

• Help customers utilize both the in-store and online (“Brick and Click”) experience effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience with CRM systems and project management tools

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Physical Requirements

• Stand/walk up to 9 hours/day

• Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs

• Regular bending, squatting, reaching, climbing

• Regular use of hands for grasping and manipulation

• Clear communication through speech, vision, and hearing

Experience Required

• Minimum of 1 year in retail, hospitality, or supply chain roles

Education

• No degree required – relevant experience and alignment with values prioritized

Working Environment

• Exposure to mechanical equipment, temperature/humidity changes, and dust/fumes (occasionally)

• Moderate noise level

• Standard employee movement through work areas
