What You’ll Do
As the Front Desk Agent, you’ll be at the center of the hotel’s guest experience—our front office. You’ll be the first impression guests have of the property, so your enthusiasm, professionalism, and friendliness will set the tone for their stay. From check-in to check-out, you’ll ensure every guest feels welcome and receives excellent service. You’ll also be the go-to person for local recommendations, hotel information, and ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk.
Daily Responsibilities
Create a warm and welcoming environment for all guests, providing exceptional customer service. Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using property management systems. Communicate clearly and professionally in a fast-paced environment. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with courtesy and efficiency. Share local knowledge of restaurants, entertainment, and events to enhance guest experiences. Accurately and responsibly handle cash and guest accounts. Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready front desk area.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. 3–6 months of related hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication skills and a passion for working with people. Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve guest issues quickly. Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and team spirit. Willingness to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks as needed.
