About the Role
We are seeking an organised, efficient, and personable Reservations Administrator to join our front-of-house team at the Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel. In this key role, you’ll manage guest bookings, handle enquiries, and ensure a smooth reservation process that contributes to an exceptional guest experience.
You will be the first point of contact for booking requests and play a critical part in maintaining accuracy across all systems, ensuring every guest interaction is prompt and professional.
Key Responsibilities

Manage hotel reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms

Accurately input guest information into the hotel management system

Handle individual and group bookings, including special requests

Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals and stay

Maintain up-to-date rates and availability across all booking channels

Respond to customer queries, complaints, and resolve issues professionally

Produce and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports

Assist with billing, invoicing, and payments linked to bookings
Requirements

Previous experience in reservations or customer service preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent attention to detail and time management

Proficiency with hotel systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office

Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as needed
