SUEZ is looking for a dedicated Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) Supervisor to manage daily operations at our Arkwright Street HWRC site in Oldham. As a Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) Supervisor, you’ll ensure that all activities are fully compliant with safety and environmental standards while achieving operational goals. You will oversee the site, supervise teams, manage site performance, and maintain crucial records. This role offers a salary of £35,276, plus up to 10% bonus, a 5% matched pension, 25+8 days of holidays, and additional benefits. Key Responsibilities of the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) Supervisor
As a Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) Supervisor, your key duties will include:

Supervising daily operations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations at the HWRC site

Meeting weekly targets set by the HWRC Manager and ensuring the site stays within budget

Ensuring compliance with COTC requirements and completing the necessary records

Producing reports on site performance, incidents, complaints, and training

Deputizing for the HWRC Manager when needed, ensuring smooth operations

To be successful as a Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) Supervisor, you will need:

Proven experience in supervising and developing teams to meet operational standards

In-depth knowledge of HWRC operations and maximum recycling processes

A valid driving licence and knowledge of safety and environmental regulations

Understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and how to track them
