- Shift varies and may include overnight shifts.
- Candidates must have previous experience in Housekeeping industrial cleaning, experience in stone, hardwood floors and carpet care treatment, as well as knowledgeable of proper chemical handling.
- Candidates must have prior guest relations training and a High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Removing garbage, stripping linen and assist in bed making in heavy turn around days.
- Sort linen by kind (terry and flatwork pieces).
- Filling and sanitizing re-usable bathroom amenities
- Packing closets with linen according to par levels previously set.
- Distribute linen and other items to housekeeping pantries. Maintain line pantries clean and organized.
- Perform general cleaning of all guestroom surfaces to include tub, wall tile, hard floors, walls, windows, mirrors
- Vacuum/mop sweep/damp mop/spot clean/spray buffing of floor surfaces, using machinery as required.
- High and low dust (including skirting boards/window ledges/curtain rails/notice boards/picture frames/furniture/doors and door stays)
- Vacuum carpeted areas, daily removal of spots or stains, and shampooing of carpets using machinery on housekeeping supervisor instruction.
- Damp clean all telephones.
- Flipping Inspecting and steam cleaning mattress and other upholster goods.
- Clean baths, showers, and sinks, polish all chromium fittings.
- Assist with curtain changing and upholstery cleaning.
- Waxing, stripping and buffing all assigned floors.
- Polishing floors and carpet extraction.
