About the Role
Luminate Education Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Administrator/Advisor to join our HR Shared Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional or administrator ready to grow within a dynamic, multi-site educational organisation.
As part of our friendly and supportive HR team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused HR support to staff across the group. You’ll manage tasks across the full employee lifecycle—from pre-employment checks and onboarding to processing staff changes, supporting maternity leave, and liaising with payroll.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for HR queries in your allocated hub

Provide efficient HR administrative support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle

Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection policies

Carry out pre-employment checks and support onboarding processes

Collaborate with payroll to ensure timely and accurate communication of staff changes

Support HR business partners with reporting, employee relations cases, and minute-taking

Work collaboratively across the wider Luminate Education Group to ensure a consistent and professional HR service
About You
Essential Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a varied HR administration or advisor role

Knowledge of HR systems and administrative processes across the employee lifecycle

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to outstanding customer service

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using HR software systems
Desirable:

Experience working in education or a large, multi-site organisation

Understanding of payroll processes and HR compliance requirements
