About the Role

Luminate Education Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Administrator/Advisor to join our HR Shared Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional or administrator ready to grow within a dynamic, multi-site educational organisation.

As part of our friendly and supportive HR team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused HR support to staff across the group. You’ll manage tasks across the full employee lifecycle—from pre-employment checks and onboarding to processing staff changes, supporting maternity leave, and liaising with payroll.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries in your allocated hub

  • Provide efficient HR administrative support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle

  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection policies

  • Carry out pre-employment checks and support onboarding processes

  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure timely and accurate communication of staff changes

  • Support HR business partners with reporting, employee relations cases, and minute-taking

  • Work collaboratively across the wider Luminate Education Group to ensure a consistent and professional HR service

About You

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a varied HR administration or advisor role

  • Knowledge of HR systems and administrative processes across the employee lifecycle

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to outstanding customer service

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using HR software systems

Desirable:

  • Experience working in education or a large, multi-site organisation

  • Understanding of payroll processes and HR compliance requirements
