Responsibilities
- Ensure employees are compliant with HR policies and benefits
- Manage the hiring and onboarding/ offboarding processes of employees
- Responsible for development of training and onboarding materials
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR matters
- Stay up to date with employee laws and regulations
- Responsible for preparing and executing employee activities (ex: happy hours, lunches) and events (ex: holiday party)
- Work closely with the Business Operations team to assist with billing and other administrative tasks
- Prepare and manage company-wide Zoom meetings
- Support employees with travel arrangements
- Manage the day-to-day office operations
- Direct communication with co-working space management office
- Purchasing of office supplies/ snacks/ relevant merchandise for employees
- Provide support with office deliveries and errands
- Monitor the office operating costs against the budget
Requirements
- BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field
- 2+ years experience as an HR & Office Administrator
- Experience using spreadsheets
- Basic knowledge of labor legislation in NY and relevant states
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills/ Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
Notes: This position requires you to be in the office (midtown, Manhattan) 3 days each week.
