Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable HR and Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processes and support HR operations. This role ensures accurate payroll execution, maintains employee records, supports benefits administration, and ensures labor law compliance. The right candidate will be organized, trustworthy, and tech-savvy with a solid background in payroll and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration

Process end-to-end payroll for [bi-weekly/monthly] cycles (including timesheet collection, deductions, and tax withholdings)

Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local laws

Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee concerns promptly

Generate and distribute W-2s, pay stubs, and payroll reports

Partner with Finance for audits, reporting, and payroll funding
HR Administration

Maintain employee records in HRIS systems and personnel files

Assist in onboarding/offboarding including forms, background checks, and exit interviews

Administer employee benefits (enrollments, changes, terminations)

Respond to employee queries regarding policies, benefits, and leave

Support compliance and maintain records for audits and legal requirements
Qualifications

Associate’s degree in HR, Accounting, or Business (Bachelor’s preferred)

2+ years of experience in payroll and HR support

Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Gusto, UKG)

Familiarity with federal and state labor laws and tax regulations

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
