We are seeking an energetic and dedicated HR Business Partner to support the enhancement of business performance and contribute towards meeting strategic business objectives. This role involves close collaboration with leadership to facilitate organization design, learning
and development initiatives, performance management systems, and career progression as well as succession planning.
Job Responsibilities
YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Proactively identify issues and provide insights to the HR Director on themes affecting the employee lifecycle.
- Utilize benchmark data to make compelling business cases, including but not limited to compensation reviews.
- Interpret policies and evolve processes to foster a fair, positive, and productive work environment.
- Assist in developing action plans related to talent acquisition, succession planning, etc., aligned with local business goals.
- Provide insights across the employee life cycle by staying informed about local competitors and employee relations issues.
- Work in conjunction with LVMH and RIMOWA Shared Services teams to ensure communications are clear regarding HR systems, processes, policies, and practices while ensuring managerial compliance.
- Undertake ad hoc projects based on business requirements as directed by the company.
Talent Acquisition, Development, and University Relations
- Support recruitment and onboarding for corporate and provide support for retail roles as needed.
- Collaborate with LVMH Inc. for University Relations initiatives.
- Lead RIMOWA’s internship program.
- Assist In the talent planning process for North America and help guide talent development across the market.
- Coach leaders on developing their teams and handling employee relations.
Employee Relations
- Address employee relations issues with professionalism and sound judgment consistently.
- Under guidance from HR leadership, aid in conducting investigations, discussions on work practices, etc.
- Offer consistent ER guidance in partnership with Legal and stakeholders across corporate and retail sectors.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation across various states.
- Proactively raises up risks and concerns to HR leadership consistently and on a timely basis.
Employee Engagement & Diversity & Inclusion
- Maintains a pulse on employee engagement through market visits (as per the business
needs) and ongoing dialogue with employees.
- Serves as employee advocate and ensures the voice of the employee is considered in all decisions.
- Leverage insights from exit/engagement surveys to address turnover themes and opportunities.
- In partnership with LVMH Inc. D&I team, ensure process and implementation of the Diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Ad hoc brand specific activations as directed by the company.
Org. Development/Change
- Acts as an agent of change and steward of culture in all transformational initiatives.
Profile
- Position requires minimum 3-5 year’s related experience in Human Resources, preferably with in Retail HR settings.
- Natural relationship builder with strong influencing and negotiating skills.
- Experience in compensation and benefits is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and demonstrate agility in decision making.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory factors including relevant employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication
Skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity & confidential information.
- Ability to learn new systems & processes.
Compensation range
$80,000 to $110,000 base plus bonus.
