Job Summary
As an HR Assistant I on TP’s HR Compliance Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the employee lifecycle—ensuring all processes are compliant with legal, regulatory, and company standards. You will handle audits, documentation, I-9s, background checks, and offboarding procedures. If you’re detail-oriented, excel-savvy, and passionate about process excellence, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities

Support HR Compliance processes including background checks, I-9s, WOTC, unemployment and employment verification.

Conduct weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc audits on employee lifecycle data.

Track and document compliance-related actions via dashboards, reports, and logs.

Support other HR functions as directed by leadership.

Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
-
2+ years of experience in an HR-related role

Solid understanding of HR principles and procedures

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Proven ability to manage time and meet deadlines

Must uphold TP’s values and maintain confidentiality
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of HR compliance processes (I-9, background checks, E-Verify, etc.)

Experience with HRIS or compliance tracking systems

Analytical mindset and ability to suggest process improvements

Comfortable with data reporting and documentation
