Position Overview

The HR Generalist Manager will provide strategic and operational HR support to Senior Managers and Department Heads across the business. This role ensures the HR team delivers strong guidance, employee relations support, and advice to operations and functional teams while promoting a compliant, positive, and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Employee Relations

  • Represent the company at management appeal and grievance interviews.

  • Act as the company representative at employment tribunals.

  • Assist in company-wide training programs and employee presentations.

  • Review employee relations queries escalated by HR Advisors.

  • Prepare reports and documentation as needed.

Client & Management Support

  • Address regional employee relations issues that may lead to disciplinary action.

  • Prepare materials for employment tribunal claims.

  • Keep managers informed on legal changes and company HR updates.

  • Analyze disability appraisals and advise managers on job adjustments.

  • Monitor HR diaries to identify training needs and participate in professional development.

Compliance & Financial Performance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal, and health & safety requirements.

  • Analyze labor turnover quarterly, highlighting trends and ranking units by turnover percentage.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous HR experience, preferably in a multi-site operation.

  • Operational management experience is a plus.

  • Strong team-building skills and ability to collaborate with management.

  • Experience with HRIS systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence and work independently.

  • Results-oriented problem solver with strong organizational skills.

  • Flexible, adaptable, and capable of handling unstructured workloads.

  • Employee and customer-focused mindset.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
