Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate HR functions across assigned locations, including employee counseling, management support, salary administration, and regulatory compliance.
- Advise leadership on employee relations matters, including HR policies and procedures.
- Manage core HR processes such as new hire orientation, onboarding, exit interviews, and employee status changes.
- Align HR initiatives with business objectives, collaborating closely with site leadership.
- Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, including performance improvement plans and employee counseling documentation.
- Partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment and staffing strategies.
- Gain a deep understanding of business segments and workforce dynamics by engaging with employees at all levels.
- Contribute to programs designed to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Uphold and model discretion, integrity, and business ethics in all HR practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Elevate concerns or issues to HR leadership as appropriate.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) for communication and reporting.
- Occasionally access production areas, following biosecurity protocols such as gowning in and wearing PPE.
- Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a strong background in Employee Relations.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems preferred.
- Candidates with a combination of advanced education and/or extensive experience may be considered for roles at higher levels, with corresponding salary adjustments based on qualifications.
