Position Overview
The HR Manager plays a key role in managing human resources operations across North America, supporting professional offices, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities. This role ensures smooth HR processes, enhances employee engagement, oversees contingent labor relationships, and serves as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries and vendor communications.
Key Responsibilities

Support the hiring process: post vacancies, screen applications, schedule interviews, and facilitate onboarding.

Manage drug and background screenings, providing timely feedback to Talent Acquisition.

Conduct training seminars including OSHA, forklift, first aid, and new hire orientation while maintaining compliance records.

Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including Department of Labor and EEOC regulations.

Develop and deliver company-wide communications professionally and objectively.

Maintain accurate HR records and metrics for reporting purposes.

Foster a positive employee engagement environment through events and communications.

Maintain confidentiality of employee records, relations issues, financial data, and company information.

Manage conflict resolution and provide guidance to employees and management.

Support daily HR processes and initiatives, including policy implementation and employee communications.
Qualifications and Skills

Associate degree or equivalent with 5-7 years of HR experience.

Proficient in HR software (ADP, ATS systems, background screening, salary platforms).

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Understanding of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.

Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
Physical Requirements

Ability to observe details at close range and communicate effectively.

Sit/stand approximately 50% of the time; climb stairs, stoop, kneel, or lift boxes (5–20 lbs.).

Operate office equipment including computers, printers, and copiers.

Occasionally exposed to weather elements in warehouse or outdoor environments.
