Human Resources Business Partner Midtown based Real Estate firm seeks a temp to perm HR Business Partner / Senior HR Generalist to join their organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for employees and teams on HR issues
- Advise managers on hiring, performance management, and employee relations and development
- Ensure that people processes, policies/practices and standards are implemented consistently by leaders while striving to continuously improve them
- For union populations, prepare all necessary paperwork in compliance with the union progressive discipline policies including written warnings, performance improvement plans and separation letters
- Keep up with evolving regulatory influences and changing policies as well as the implications for client organization
- Coach and counsel managers and employees on all employee issues
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of related Human Resources Business Partner experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and training
- Demonstrated success as a true partner to multiple locations and onsite managers
- Experience in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development
- Have remarkable interpersonal skills, committed to improving efficiency and holding personal accountability
- Strong analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and excellent computer skills
- Union knowledge preferred, experience participating in grievance and arbitration hearings
