Key Responsibilities of Human Resources Manager

 

The Human Resources Manager will ensure compliance, consistency, and employee satisfaction across all locations.

  • Administer employee benefits, healthcare plans, and retirement programs.
  • Manage leave processes, track call-outs, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Handle unemployment claims and provide accurate, timely responses.
  • Conduct HR audits to maintain compliance and update personnel files.
  • Oversee onboarding for new employees, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Maintain data integrity in HRIS systems, particularly Paylocity.
  • Organize HR meetings, track leadership action items, and ensure follow-up.
  • Manage confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications for Human Resources Manager

 

To thrive as a Human Resources Manager, you must bring deep HR expertise and strong communication skills.

  • 5+ years of experience as an HR generalist or HR manager.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state HR laws and compliance regulations.
  • Expertise in benefits administration, employee relations, and leave management.
  • Experience using Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
