About the Job

Waccamaw Dermatology seeks a Human Resource Manager to oversee daily HR functions, including hiring, benefits administration, leave management, and policy enforcement. This role involves ensuring compliance with training and continuing education requirements, managing recruitment and onboarding, administering HR programs (compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, performance management, etc.), handling employee inquiries, conducting investigations, and maintaining legal compliance. The HR Manager will also assist with travel arrangements for executives and candidates, support event planning, and perform other assigned duties.

A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with 3-5 years of HR management experience preferred. SHRM-CP certification is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is required, as is the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS. The position involves prolonged periods of sitting and computer work, occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds, and the ability to navigate the organization’s facilities.
