Position Overview – Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions with a strong focus on employee relations, recruitment, retention, training, and policy enforcement. Serving as a strategic business partner, this position supports leaders across the assigned region by aligning HR strategies with operational goals while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role requires handling confidential information with the utmost discretion and demands strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted HR advisor to employees and leadership, providing coaching and guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.

Collaborate closely with front-line supervisors, managers, and senior leaders to assess and address business and workforce needs.

Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and programs related to training, benefits, compensation, and compliance, ensuring alignment with company goals and employee engagement.

Manage the accurate documentation and maintenance of employee records, including attendance, personal information, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

Ensure organizational compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations (EEO, affirmative action, unemployment, etc.).

Conduct thorough employee relations investigations and resolve issues in partnership with the Regional HR Manager.

Participate in regional staff meetings, offering HR insights and guidance on personnel-related matters.

Deliver HR training sessions to managers and staff, and facilitate new hire orientations to support a strong onboarding experience.

Perform periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with HR practices and documentation standards.

Represent the company in personnel-related hearings, audits, and investigations, as needed.

Carry out other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of Human Resources Management or Generalist experience, with demonstrated strength in employee relations and issue resolution

Proven background conducting employee investigations in a manufacturing or blue-collar environment

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting HR metrics

Familiarity with HR systems, compliance standards, and best practices in an industrial or operational setting
