Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will lead and support all core HR functions, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment and retention, training, policy compliance, and performance management. Acting as a strategic partner to regional leadership, this role ensures alignment between HR practices and business goals, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, discreet professional capable of managing confidential matters and juggling multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted HR advisor to employees and management, offering guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.

Collaborate closely with supervisors, managers, and senior leadership to address employee and operational needs.

Implement and oversee HR policies, programs, and initiatives related to compensation, benefits, training, and compliance.

Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, performance reviews, compensation data, and disciplinary actions.

Ensure ongoing compliance with employment laws and regulations, including EEO, affirmative action, unemployment, and other related mandates.

Conduct investigations and resolve employee concerns in coordination with the Regional HR Manager.

Participate in staff meetings and advise on personnel-related matters and workforce planning.

Facilitate training sessions for managers on HR systems, policies, and best practices.

Support and lead new hire onboarding and orientation.

Perform HR audits for assigned locations to ensure data accuracy and procedural compliance.

Represent the organization in employment-related hearings and investigations as needed.

Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications

Solid understanding of current HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

Proven expertise in HR functions including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and training.

Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage all levels of staff in a professional, respectful manner.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

Demonstrated ability to resolve issues, make sound decisions, and lead with initiative.
