Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Employee Relations, Human Resources, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 3 years in a direct managerial role

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in employee relations

  • Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare system environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, HR Management, or a related discipline

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification

  • Familiarity with Joint Commission guidelines and a strong understanding of healthcare accreditation standards

Position Overview:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Employee Relations Specialist to support managers in responding to employee performance and conduct issues

  • Leading employee investigations and developing data-driven strategies to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness

  • Advising and training leadership on HR policies and practices to ensure adherence to federal and state laws, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and other regulatory guidelines

  • Identifying trends and patterns in employee relations cases to inform HR leadership and support organizational development efforts

  • Providing counseling, conflict resolution, and communication support to employees to foster a positive work environment

  • Supporting the performance management cycle by coaching leaders, guiding goal-setting conversations, and ensuring consistent evaluation of employee performance
