Position Overview
As the Human Resources Manager, you will lead HR initiatives at your branch, supporting management teams and employees while driving operational efficiency. This role emphasizes a proactive, solution-focused HR approach, ensuring CTDI remains an employer of choice. You will manage HR staff, oversee employee relations, implement policies, and contribute to leadership and talent development.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a branch HR leader, addressing business initiatives, employee concerns, and operational challenges.

Manage HR Generalists and Coordinators, assessing strengths, development needs, and performance.

Handle employee relations issues, including attendance, performance, and conduct, ensuring thorough documentation.

Act as the first point of contact for HR questions, including payroll, benefits, and company policies.

Partner with Recruitment and Branch Leadership to ensure smooth onboarding, promotions, and talent development.

Compile People Metrics (turnover, safety, employee issues) and develop solutions with Regional Management.

Recommend and deliver training programs (leadership, safety, HR compliance).

Implement policies, procedures, and protocols in coordination with regional HR leadership.

Conduct sensitive investigations as necessary.

Process payroll changes and updates in HR systems (UltiPro).

Perform other HR duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of HR experience, including employee relations and sensitive investigations.

Familiarity with HR areas: Total Rewards, Talent Management, etc.

Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to assess talent and execute development plans.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Previous management experience (1–3 years).

Training experience, including content development and delivery.

Experience with UKG, Kronos, or temporary staff management.

Background in high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service, or logistics operations.
Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Physical Demands & Work Conditions

Warehouse environment with possible local and occasional overnight travel.
