Position Overview

The HR Manager partners with plant management to oversee human resources functions at our facility. This role manages employee relations, benefits, policies, HR compliance, recruitment, and employee development. The HR Manager acts as a liaison between management and employees, ensuring consistent HR practices and promoting the company’s culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update HRIS records (SAP, Kronos, SuccessFactors, E-Verify, etc.).

  • Administer company policies, benefits, and employee programs.

  • Advise management, supervisors, and employees on HR issues.

  • Oversee recruitment, applications, interviews, and orientation.

  • Track attendance, review timecards, and administer discipline processes.

  • Manage employee files and confidential HR documentation.

  • Process paperwork such as FMLA requests, ADA accommodations, and enrollment forms.

  • Support injured employees with documentation and transitional work assignments.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSDS, Affirmative Action, and ethical sourcing audits.

  • Coordinate company functions, meetings, and employee recognition events.

  • Promote adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Quality Food program standards.

  • Other HR-related responsibilities as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience.

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Strong confidentiality, professionalism, and decision-making skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and/or HR certification (PHR/SPHR).

  • 5+ years of HR experience in a large manufacturing facility.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, troubleshoot, and problem-solve.


Working Conditions

  • Office-based work with occasional exposure to industrial operations.

  • Temperature extremes (35ºF to 100ºF), noise levels above 85 dB, moisture, and moving machinery.
