Lead HR Strategy and Culture as a Human Resources Manager
As the Human Resources Manager, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff, fostering a positive, inclusive workplace that values creativity and innovation. You’ll manage employee relations, mediate conflicts, and promote a culture that supports collaboration and growth. This role also includes ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, maintaining HR policies, and overseeing health, safety, and workplace investigations.
Drive Development and Performance with the Human Resources Manager Role
In the Human Resources Manager position, you’ll manage performance review cycles, build career development programs, and provide training to enhance leadership and feedback skills. You’ll oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness within the gaming and tech industries, and you’ll partner with finance and leadership on salary benchmarking and benefits engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment for technical, creative, and support roles
- Develop effective onboarding experiences for new hires
- Implement HR systems that enhance efficiency and employee experience
- Drive diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives
- Provide HR insights to guide leadership decisions
- Ensure compliance and maintain detailed personnel documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred)
- 5+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years in management
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment law and HR best practices
- Experience in the video game industry or creative studio environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Based in the U.S. or Canada; available during Pacific Time working hours
