Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
-
Develop and implement local recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.

Oversee the full-cycle hiring process, including job postings, interviewing, offer negotiations, and candidate selection.

Lead onboarding initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and successful integration for new hires.
Employee Relations
-
Act as a trusted advisor to both management and staff, addressing workplace concerns and resolving conflicts promptly and professionally.

Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by ensuring fair policy application and consistent communication.
Employee Engagement
-
Design and execute programs aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.

Conduct surveys and analyze results to identify areas for improvement and optimize workplace culture.
Performance Management
-
Support managers in conducting effective performance evaluations aligned with organizational objectives.

Provide coaching and guidance to employees on development goals and career progression.
Compliance
-
Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records and generate necessary reports.
Succession Planning

Partner with leadership to identify high-potential talent and future leaders.

Develop targeted plans to close skills gaps and strengthen the internal talent pipeline.
Safety & Workers’ Compensation
-
Oversee workplace safety programs to maintain OSHA compliance and promote a culture of safety.

Manage workers’ compensation claims and liaise with insurance providers to ensure proper handling.
Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred. HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Key Skills
-
Strong working knowledge of HR functions, employment laws, and compliance standards.

Familiarity with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) systems is a plus.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
