Job Description

Plumbing Foreman

Duties / Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure safety policies are followed including proper use of PPE and fall protection equipment
  • Follow Hazcom, Excavation, Trenching, and Silica Safety Programs
  • Adhere to the Water Damage Plan
  • Review project(s) with the project manager and communicate daily project needs
  • Presents a positive image to customers, co-workers, and others on the job
  • Directs the performance, safety training, and welfare of plumbing crew
  • Ensures plumbing crews have material and hand and power tools required to properly install plumbing system in order to prevent delays to construction schedules
  • Coordinates the installation of plumbing systems with other trades
  • Knowledge of plumbing code and accessibility code compliance

Extensive knowledge of all phases of plumbing systems

  • Ensures compliance with company objectives, operating procedure, and quality standards
  • Monitor testing and disinfection of plumbing systems and inspections
  • Able to represent Energy Air, Inc. at project meetings in the absence of the Project Manager
  • Performs the work of lead plumber as required
  • Capable of supervising crews of 12 or more and a plumbing scope per project over $1 M

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/Trade school diploma
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in plumbing trade
  • Certifications in 30hr OSHA forklift/lull and aerial lift
  • Competent person in CPR First Aid and H6010 Medgas
  • Ability to effectively motivate and manage employees
  • Work without supervision
  • Has good written and verbal communication skills
