Join a Leading Charity Partnership as an ICT Field Support Engineer
We are looking for an ICT Field Support Engineer to provide on-site support across two hospice locations in Selly Park and Erdington. Offering a competitive salary of £42,000 per year, along with a generous benefits package, this role also includes full reimbursement of travel expenses above DVLA standards.
As an ICT Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues across various technologies, ensuring all requests are handled within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The role demands a strong technical skillset, effective customer service, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What You’ll Do as an ICT Field Support Engineer

Provide on-site IT support for both hospice locations in Selly Park and Erdington

Track, troubleshoot, and resolve service requests, adhering to SLAs

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Windows 10/11, Office 365, Azure, Exchange, VMware/Hyper-V, networking, and more

Collaborate with colleagues to improve troubleshooting processes and ensure efficient system management

Communicate technical issues to customers in a clear, non-technical manner

Provide flexible support, including occasional out-of-hours working and cross-site presence
Key Skills and Experience for the ICT Field Support Engineer Role

Expertise in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support

Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Office 365, Azure, Exchange, Intune, VMware/Hyper-V, networking (including switches, firewalls, VLANs, etc.)

Proven ability to manage field service tickets while meeting SLAs

Strong communication skills to interact with clients and resolve technical issues promptly

Experience in diagnosing complex technical issues and implementing effective solutions
