John Taylor MAT is looking for an experienced ICT Technician – Rugeley John Taylor School to join its newly established, all-through school in Rugeley. As the ICT Technician – Rugeley John Taylor School, you will play a key role in maintaining and updating IT, communications, and audio-visual equipment, ensuring a seamless learning and working environment for both students and staff. This permanent, full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a brand-new school, starting with Year 7 in the secondary phase in September 2025.

Key Responsibilities of the ICT Technician – Rugeley John Taylor School

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the IT operations, including managing hardware and software systems.

• Provide technical support for communications and AV equipment.

• Maintain and update systems, ensuring optimal performance for educational and administrative use.

• Support staff and students with IT issues and ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure.

• Organise and prioritise tasks to meet the demands of a growing school environment.
