As an Industrial Electrician, you will work on various projects across Southern Water, ensuring the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This position requires travel and occasional work away from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Install cable containment and electrical systems to BS 7671 standards.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems using specialized testing equipment.
- Conduct electrical inspections and testing to ensure compliance.
- Plan electrical layouts based on job specifications.
- Work at heights while following strict safety protocols.
What You Need to Succeed
- Fully qualified Industrial Electrician with 18th Edition certification.
- ECS Grading Card (current and in-date).
- Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations.
- Experience in the water industry or heavy industrial sector preferred.
- Full UK driving license required.
