Job Summary
We are hiring a skilled Industrial Electrician to support our dynamic operations across both a high-standard food processing facility and remote salmon farming sites. In this crucial role, you will handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems vital to production, refrigeration, automation, and aquaculture infrastructure.
A flexible mindset, safety-first attitude, and strong hands-on skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems in both factory and aquaculture environments.

Work with motors, pumps, drives, lighting systems, and PLC-controlled automation equipment.

Diagnose and fix electrical faults promptly to reduce operational downtime.

Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and food safety regulations (HACCP compliance).

Conduct routine and preventive maintenance, documenting all tasks accurately.

Collaborate with the engineering team on capital upgrades and system improvements.

Travel to salmon farms as required (accommodation/travel covered).

Participate in the on-call rota to address emergency breakdowns.
Requirements

Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds).

Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.

Sound knowledge of PLC systems, VSDs, and automation (highly desirable).

Strong grasp of lockout/tagout and general site safety practices.

Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.

Full UK Driving Licence (or equivalent).

Multi-skilled or mechanical background a bonus.
