Key Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and troubleshoot medication-related workflows within the Epic Willow suite.

Collaborate with pharmacy informatics and IT teams to implement integrated system solutions.

Maintain and update critical components including order sets, formulary data, and CPOE configurations.

Serve as the primary link between pharmacy operations and IT for system enhancements and support.

Actively participate in committees such as Clinical Standard Work (CSW), Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T), and other relevant groups.

Monitor and promote new Epic features, recommending optimizations to improve safety and efficiency.

Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for ongoing system support.
Required Education & Experience

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Epic certification in applicable modules (or the ability to achieve certification within 6 months of hire).

Experience interpreting healthcare regulations (e.g., TJC) and implementing compliant systems.

Previous experience in training or educating others.
Required Credentials
-
Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Washington State Board of Pharmacy, or licensed in the state of residence with Washington licensure obtained within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Epic Willow build, configuration, or usage.

Experience with EMRs such as Cerner, Meditech, or others.

Familiarity with HL7 interfaces and healthcare data standards.

At least two years of hospital pharmacy experience with increasing responsibility and a solid understanding of hospital and pharmacy operations.

Project management experience overseeing small to medium-scale initiatives.

Pediatric pharmacy experience is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $139,486 – $209,228 per year (based on full-time, 2080 hours annually). Actual offers are based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
