Adecco is excited to recruit for an Information Review Officer to work with Lincolnshire Police on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. As an Information Review Officer, you’ll work full-time (37 hours per week) based at the Police Headquarters in Nettleham, LN2 2LT. Enjoy a stable schedule working Monday to Thursday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) and Fridays (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM), earning £13.28 per hour.

Responsibilities of an Information Review Officer

As an Information Review Officer, you will be responsible for managing and cleansing data following Management of Police Information (MoPI) guidelines. Key duties include:

  • Interrogating the Centurion and Crimson databases to assess the need for data retention or disposal according to MoPI standards.

  • Reviewing paper complaint and disciplinary files, ensuring decisions comply with MoPI APP guidance.

  • Maintaining accuracy of data within Centurion/Crimson and updating MoPI grades where needed.

  • Collaborating with the Office Manager to verify data integrity, remove duplicates, and amend inaccuracies.

  • Making informed, risk-based decisions about the retention or disposal of information, carefully documenting all actions.

Essential Skills and Experience for Information Review Officer

Skills You’ll Need as an Information Review Officer:

  • Proven ability in collecting, analyzing, and evaluating information.

  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.

  • Background in administrative roles with excellent IT proficiency.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.

  • Strong research capabilities and understanding of relevant policies.

  • Clear, jargon-free verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build effective relationships across teams.

  • Familiarity with Lincolnshire Police systems (desirable but not essential).
